Satisfy your knowledge and your stomach with this educational Urban Adventure. Get a crash course in the Spanish language with a professional teacher and learn the essential words for travellers. Put your new skills to the test on a shopping excursion to local markets to buy ingredients for a BBQ lunch.
Itinerary
The adventure begins at the Vamos Spanish Academy where you will meet your teacher. In a small classroom setting learn the basic words and phrases that all travellers should know such as introductions, asking for directions, prices and general food terms.
The class is designed with lots of time for speaking and talking in order to learn the correct Argentine pronunciation of these Spanish words.
Test out your new language skills with local vendors on a market visit. Your classroom group will be responsible for ordering all the produce for a typical Argentine BBQ picnic. Celebrate your success by dining on your purchases on the rooftop patios of Vamos Spanish Academy.

Dress Standard
Latin Americans can be very conscious of appearance so try to be casual but conservative in your dress. Outside of beach areas halter tops and very short shorts should not be worn. When visiting churches or religious sites shoulders and knees should be covered.
Tipping
If you are happy with the services provided by your local guides and teachers, a tip - though not compulsory - is appropriate. While it may not be customary to you, it is of great significance to the people who will take care of you during your experience, inspires excellent service, and is an entrenched feature of the tourism industry across many Intrepid Urban Adventures destinations. Please consider this when budgeting for your extra expenses on this trip.
Child policy
Children must be aged between 6 and 11 years of age inclusively.
